Realizing this has been a haunted house game this whole time. Been working on redirecting what this game is trying to do accordingly.

Ellie our artist is currently working on the Minotaur creature that will be roaming some of the levels. The idea is that it is a sort of stalker enemy that is slowly approaching the player as they explore through Limbo. Ultimately he will still be a rare sight, and instead will mostly be heard and felt with his footsteps and grunts being able to be heard even in levels he isn't in. More important then having a big guy chase you down is creating the feeling that there is a big guy chasing you down.

Below is the concept art Ellie drew up for the Minotaur! Hopefully we will have a 3D model to post soon!

At the time of writing this, Blind Limbo has been underway for about a week and a half! The jam started much before then but I was prioritizing school stuff first. I wrote up the design doc for this one pretty quick and hit the ground running really. My friend Joe is working on the music and sound for the game and has worked on similar previous projects with me. Then I also grabbed two others who are students here to join the team as a programmer and artist and now the 4 of us are working away at it!

Currently I am putting together the first scene in the game, a church on a hill of crosses. I've done plenty of 3D Modeling but I am usually not the one to put everything into the actual environment so arranging everything into the level has been a lot of fun! I will be posting photos of the level once its at or near completion.
